Core Healthcare Group February Newsletter

Dear Valued Client and your families,

We hope you have had a wonderful start to the year so far!

Does your child or a child you know currently have difficulties reaching their physical milestones such as crawling or walking, difficulty with gross motor activities involving balance or coordination, difficulties staying seated which affects their learning and concentration, aches and pains from physical activity or common childhood conditions such as plagiocephaly, club foot, toe walking, *Autism Spectrum Disorder or *Cerebral Palsy?

Through individualised Physiotherapy programs, children can be assisted in development of the physical and cognitive skills required for learning and growth. Early referral to physiotherapy for assessment and management of common childhood conditions such as these, can improve the prognosis and prevent further developmental delay.

PhysioKids can offer children:

• Developmental assessments

• At home exercise programs to develop strength, flexibility, balance and coordination

• School visits and recommendations for teachers

• Facilitative techniques such as taping

• Pilates Classes

• Sports Physiotherapy

• Hydrotherapy

• and more…

Our clinics offer immediate private health rebates through the HICAPS. We are preferred providers for Medibank and BUPA, ensuring greater rebates on our services, and BUPA offers a NO GAP service for children. If eligible, we also bulk bill for chronic conditions when referred on an EPC plan

* Treatment for disability specific conditions are available at our Southport Clinic only
