Tam Carman 1

Tam Carman

Tam Carman graduated from Griffith University in 2019 with a Master of Physiotherapy and Bachelor of Exercise Science. With several years of experience in private practice, she has developed comprehensive clinical expertise in musculoskeletal and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Having treated a diverse range of injuries and conditions, Tam has particular expertise in shoulder and knee injuries, as well as rehabilitation for overhead and throwing athletes. Her specialisation in these areas draws from both her advanced postgraduate training in shoulder injury management and her personal experience as a former high-level cricketer and netballer.

Tam is passionate about working with active individuals across all performance levels—from recreational enthusiasts to elite athletes. She takes a personalised approach with each client, developing tailored treatment plans to achieve individual goals, whether that’s pain reduction, functional improvement, or return to peak performance.

Her ongoing involvement in competitive cricket and snowboarding keeps her intimately connected to the physical and mental demands of athletic performance. This firsthand understanding enhances her clinical practice, enabling her to guide clients back to their chosen activities with improved strength, safety, and confidence.

Tam is committed to helping people not just recover but return to what they love doing—better than before. Tam is available for consultations at our Sorrento clinic.
