PhysiApp and How it Works

Exercise And Rehabilitation Are Integral To Recovery From Pain Or Injury

Tailored exercises that are specific to your condition and rehabilitation will result in a faster recovery, less pain and less chance of re-injury. Over the course of your treatment, your therapist will identify any weaknesses or muscle and joint problems that can be helped with specific exercises. These may include stretches and movement-based exercises which will be adapted at every stage of your recovery.

As your condition improves, more functional exercises may be included that are aimed at improving your ability to perform everyday activities. Lastly, more complex or resistance-based exercises may be given to improve strength and flexibility, which will help to reduce the chance of reinjury.

At Core, we use a digital platform called PhysiApp to provide you with the latest in-home exercise prescription.

How PhysiApp Works

Your physio will allocate exercises relevant to each stage of your injury/condition. Each exercise is accompanied by a video or image and a commentary that is in both audio and written form. We will set the parameters (sets, reps, time, load etc).

You will be emailed instructions on how to download the PhysiApp patient app, as well as an access code to your individualised program, accessible via desktop or phone/tablet. You will have easy access to your exercises, you can even log when you’ve completed them and send a message directly to your physio.

PhysiApp will provide you with the confidence to perform your exercises correctly, and the built-in reminders will help to keep you on track and motivated.
